Imagine if NPR’s This American Life showed up on the set of Austin City Limits with Ken Burns’ and Bill Nye’s baby. That’s a little bit like Reconnecting Roots. We reflect on the 160 years of American progress that surrounds us, exploring the good AND the bad. What parts are in danger of being lost? And what areas can still be improved?
